Before each General Election, B+LNZ works with the Meat Industry Association (MIA) to present the red meat sector’s priorities to all political parties.
The manifesto sets out the key areas parties should focus on as they develop their policy platforms, to ensure the red meat sector can continue to grow export revenues and increase jobs.
It is sent to every Member of Parliament and relevant officials and forms the basis of B+LNZ’s advocacy in an election year.
