Building resilience through Catchment Community Groups

In this video farmers Robyn Budd, Hamish Browne and Jon Henry share their experiences setting up their catchment community group, Mangatangi and Maramarua Catchment Incorporated.

The community were feeling the pressure of changing regulations when they decided to form their Catchment Community Group. The group found support from several organisations to help them get up and running and feel they have totally changed the conversation in the community.

Farmers who were previously stressed and concerned are now engaged and feeling positive about the work they are doing to protect their catchment. They shared their story with us and strongly encourage other farmers to get involved in their local catchment group.
