New Livestock Parasite Management Group in Hawke’s Bay
B+LNZ is excited to announce the formation of seven new Livestock Parasite Management Groups across NZ. These are designed to facilitate farmer-to-farmer learning, discover solutions, and share knowledge. We are establishing a group in Hawke’s Bay, led by local vet Richard Lee. The project will run for three years and include four meetings annually, with full attendance expected from all members. Interest is sought from intensive bull beef/dairy heifer farmers as well as commercial sheep and stud farmers. A small fee will be required from each member to cover meeting costs, with the remainder funded by B+LNZ. Space is limited to 12 members and the programme requires a broad coverage of members – contact Richard to be shortlisted at richard@hbvet.co.nz or 027 444 7488 to express your interest.
2025 Parasite Management Calendar – we need your photos

If your photo is selected you will get a copy of the calendar, a goodie bag, and bragging rights. We need your original image, so it is high enough quality to be blown up to calendar size. To enter, email the image to research@beeflambnz.com by 11 August 2024.
