Celebrating 100 years of NZ red meat exports to North America
2026 marks 100 years since NZ started exporting red meat to North America. There have been many ups and downs since then but the relationship has endured to become one of our most strategically significant long-term markets. A BBQ to celebrate the milestone with key US stakeholders was held in Washington DC this week. This will be followed later this year by an event in Wellington. Read Trusted, lean and long-game, the history of NZ meat exports to North America.
