This week’s notices:

SSI director election and other annual meeting voting processes

Farmers living in the Southern South Island will soon be able to vote for their local B+LNZ farmer director and can access the candidate profiles here for Simon Davies, Glen McDonald, and Matt McRae. From 16 February, all farmers on the B+LNZ electoral roll will be sent full voting information for the annual meeting processes. See this recent media release for more info.

Last chance to have your say on the Government’s RMA reform

Consultation on the draft legislation that will replace the RMA is closing next Friday, 13 February. The RMA reform is one of the most important pieces of legislation for farmers, shaping how productive resources are used – so we encourage you to have your say on how the RMA has affected you and whether the new Bills will improve things. The B+LNZ website has a full breakdown of the key issues our submission will focus on, and resources to help you write a submission, including a recording of last week’s webinar. Access the resources here.
