Correction to ‘Treating cattle for liver fluke this winter’ article
The article Treating cattle for liver fluke this winter incorrectly stated that none of the four anthelmintics registered in New Zealand for treating liver fluke in cattle contained levamisole. There are in fact a small number of oral combination drenches available for cattle in New Zealand that contain albendazole in combination with levamisole. These products can be expected to control adult liver fluke, as well as most gut worms, on farms where resistance is not present to these drugs. B+LNZ apologises for any confusion.
