To sign up to e-diaries, create/login to a B+LNZ online account, go to ‘Account settings’ and select the e-diary box – you’ll be asked to pick which region/s you want to receive e-diaries for.

Raise a chop for National Lamb Day 2026

National Lamb Day is back on Sunday 15 February, with opportunities for everyone to celebrate all NZ food producers – from farm to fork. Invite your mates, fire up your BBQ and get ready to celebrate all those involved in our world-class lamb production! Or take part in some of the events planned around the country to mark the day. Reminder: New Zealand Meat Board 2026 Annual Meeting and voting information

Voting (online only) on two resolutions for New Zealand Meat Board's 2026 Annual Meeting closes at 2pm next Tuesday 3 February. You will have received voting information via mail including your unique password. Your voice matters and we encourage all eligible farmers to vote and take the opportunity to review progress, discuss priorities and hear your feedback. The Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday 4 February 2026 at 12pm in Wellington. You can find a link to the voting platform, feedback form, and registration to attend the meeting by visiting www.nzmeatboard.org/annual-meeting-2026.

Resilient Pastures Programme Climate Workshops

Dairy, sheep and beef farmers are invited to workshops in Tai Tokerau Northland, Waikato and Moana a Toi Bay of Plenty to discuss the types of weather patterns that are challenging the performance and persistence of their pastures and the impact these weather patterns are having on feed supply. Researchers also want to capture what mitigation strategies farmers are using in response to challenging weather patterns. Workshop dates are: 10am–2.30pm Wednesday 28 January in Whangarei (Barge Showgrounds), Wednesday, 4 February in Newstead (Marshmeadow), and Thursday 5 February in Edgecumbe (War Memorial Hall).
