Take part in climate change policy positions workshops

B+LNZ recently ran a series of successful freshwater policy workshops – you can see the feedback here. We’re now planning a series of similar workshops on climate change policy. These workshops aim to facilitate detailed and open conversations with farmers to develop a package of policy positions. The workshops will be 3 to 4 hours long and held in several locations nationwide (dates and venues to be confirmed). Farmer input is vital to policy position development for B+LNZ and we will continue to test our thinking in the coming months. If you would like to provide input through these workshops, please register your interest here or by emailing lucy.evans@beeflambnz.com

Help Feds with their pest survey and win prizes

Federated Farmers wants to get a better picture of pest problems across NZ and are asking farmers to complete a survey to tell the story of the challenges you face and to shine a light on the positive work you’re doing to manage pests. There’s an overall prize and spot prizes for completed surveys. The survey is open until Wednesday 31 July. Complete the survey here.
