Detainment bund field day

Detainment bunds can help reduce the impacts of floods and support improved environmental outcomes. Anyone wanting to know more about these structures are welcome to come along to a field day at Hodderville Farms Events Centre, Old Taupo Road, Waotu on Tuesday 17 February starting at 11am. Speaker John Paterson will talk about how he developed the Detainment Bund to effectively intercept and treat stormwater runoff farm farms. Register by emailing [email protected] to register. This project is supported by B+LNZ.

Complete the remuneration survey for a chance to win!

The Federated Farmers and Rabobank New Zealand remuneration survey is a valuable tool for farming businesses to inform decisions around remuneration packages that will attract and retain staff. The more farmers that participate, the more robust the results will be. Complete the survey before 25 February 2026 and be in to win. The prize draw consists of one $200 winner and three $100 prizes.
