This week’s notices:

Help keep our farms safe – complete the survey

As part of our commitment to farm safety, we're working with Safer Farms to understand the challenges and needs of sheep and beef farmers. Help ensure every farmer returns home safely by completing this short quad bike safety survey by 18 October.

Register now for B+LNZ's climate change policy workshops

If you haven’t registered for a workshop on climate change policy, there’s still time. This week B+LNZ's Environment Policy and Advocacy team completed the first two workshops in Havelock North and Masterton. Next week the team is heading to Whangārei, Gore, and Oamaru before finishing with two online workshops. This is an opportunity to have your say on B+LNZ climate change policy positions. We understand it’s a busy time, but we want to engage with farmers prior to key Government climate workstreams starting. There will be further opportunities for farmers to provide input in future, however. Register here to secure your spot in one of the following:

  • Whangārei: Monday 14 October (12–4pm)
  • Gore: Wednesday 16 October (12–4pm)
  • Oamaru: Thursday 17 October (12–4pm)
  • Online: Monday 21 October (4–7pm)
  • Online: Tuesday 22 October (4–7pm)
