This year's theme at the 2019 B+LNZ FarmSmart Conference was ‘Pushing Play: How Data is Transforming Our World’. Presentations on the day included the use of technology to drive productivity on Tina and Duncan Mackintosh’s farm, to building staff capability in the agricultural industry through the Coleridge Downs Cadetship.
This year's panel discussion, More Than Just Hot Air’, addressed the emissions issue facing our sector. There was a great line-up of speakers on the panel including Wairarapa farmer Anders Crofoot and Chief Executive of the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council, James Palmer.
