B+LNZ Western North Island Hub Farm Day

Join us for an off-farm day to delve deep into EID in sheep and how much data can be captured to take your ewe flock to the next level. We’ll have a panel of farmers at different stages of EID use, including James Rogers (Taihape), George Hardwick-Smith (Eltham), David Turner (Eltham) and our Hub Farm host farmer, Bevan Proffit.

Hear from award winning farmer and shearer David Buick, and how he and his wife Rebecca are using diversification, adaptability and planning to take their farm business to great heights.

A Hub Farm update will also be given – Ohineiti Station is almost halfway through the three-year Hub Farm programme and we’re starting to see some real results from the measurements and changes that Bevan and Mary are implementing. This event is off-farm so will be warm and dry.

Bring your staff, your neighbours, and if you’re an RP, bring your clients.

The B+LNZ Hub Farm is a journey to be shared – by farmers, for farmers.
