Join us for a practical afternoon learning a DIY approach to a simple on-farm autopsy.
You will refresh your knowledge of what is normal and discover where to look for common diseases and health indicators.
Topics covered
- Pneumonia.
- Pleurisy.
- Johne’s disease and other gut infections.
Along with your own questions, we will cover photos, samples, and real on farm examples. If you come across any interesting or unusual animal organs or body parts before the workshop, feel free to bring them along.
Keep the organ or part of interest clean, place it on its own in a bag (no full offal sets), and freeze it. Defrost it the night before the workshop and bring it with you.
