About the workshop
This is for entry level young shepherds wanting to learn more about dogs. If you are new to shepherding and at a loss of how to manage your dog, finding the dog knows more than you do, then come along and pick up some pointers from an experienced dog trainer.
This is for the serious shepherd committed to improving themselves, welling to learn and listen. You’ll also learn about how to prepare and cook some simple yet fabulous meals to fuel yourself for the long winters.
We’ll also cover some tech tools commonly used on farm, and demonstate how to utilise them to their optimum to support information flow on farm.

Peter London – Serious Training
Peter London is a renowned Whanganui based farm dog trainer, operating Serious Training, where he refines about 70 working dogs (and their human) per year.
Tom Loughlin – Ngati Tuwharetoa/Ngapuhi Te Rarawa
Tom is the host, Chef, Guide and Kaitiaki at Kai Waho. A Māori Cuisine, culture and wilderness experience, set on Tuwharetoa tribal land.
