Join us for an evening with Rabobank’s Jen Corkran and B+LNZ’s Phil Weir. 

Jen will cover the global outlook for New Zealand’s red meat exports and dig into the market forces, production trends, pricing outlooks and risks & opportunities shaping your farm-gate returns. 

B+LNZ Director Phil Weir, will share an update on B+LNZ’s activity regionally and nationally, along with information on the upcoming 2027 referendum, what it means for farmers and how B+LNZ will continue to deliver value for farmers levies.

Speakers 

  • Jen Corkran – Rabobank: Jen is one of NZ’s most recognised agri market commentators and co-author of RaboResearch’s NZ agribusiness monthly. She brings deep expertise in global and domestic animal protein markets, with a focus on sheep and beef sector performance, export dynamics, and farm‑gate profitability.  
  • Phil Weir – Beef + Lamb New Zealand: Phil farms in Te Pahu in Waikato’s west. He is B+LNZ’s Northern North Island Director, Nuffield Scholar and regular Farmers Weekly columnist. Phil is dedicated to supporting farmers, guiding sector strategy, and driving the red meat industry’s continued growth and resilience.
