Following the popular Marlborough Farming for Profit event in Ward earlier this year, we're taking the next step and heading on farm to see top stock performance in practice.
Join us for a practical day visiting the properties of Rob Peter and Fraser Avery. Hear directly from the hosts about the foundations that drive their success, including feed quality, stock management, decision-making, and the standards they consistently apply to achieve outstanding results.
On the day
- The day starts at 10am with a cuppa at the Peter's woolshed, followed by a farm tour facilitated by Mary Bowron.
- After a BYO lunch, we'll head to Bonavaree, where Mark Zino will facilitate discussion with Fraser Avery.
- We'll finish with a BBQ at approximately 4.30pm.
Thanks to our sponsors Ravensdown for coming on board and providing the refreshments for the BBQ.

This is a valuable opportunity to see two high-performing Marlborough farming businesses, ask questions, share ideas, and see what's possible when the fundamentals are done well.
Thanks to the Marlborough Farming for Profit committee and our farm hosts for making this follow-up event possible.
