- Hear Simon Franklin and Alice Beamish's remarkable journey – from leasing the family farm at Weber in 2010 to selling and rebuilding their Dartmoor property, purchased just two months before Cyclone Gabrielle.
- Simon will share how they've redefined their stock policy to tackle challenges including worm resistance, facial eczema pressure and tough seasons, creating a thriving bull beef and lamb finishing operation.
- We'll also hear from Cara Brosnahan, Lead Scientist at Beef + Lamb New Zealand, who will discuss the FE project and larval PCR technology, alongside farmers involved in B+LNZ livestock parasite management groups sharing their practical experiences.
- Zara Van Hout, Hawke's Bay Area Manager and Technical Lead at Dickie Direct, will discuss Simon and Alice's fertiliser approach and provide an update on global fertiliser markets.
