Library packs 

We offer ‘library packs’ of resources to training organisations upon request. These packs support student and trainer learning by providing valuable industry information that complements your existing curriculum. To request a pack, please email resources@beeflambnz.com   

B+LNZ Knowledge Hub 

You can explore B+LNZ’s extensive Knowledge Hub, featuring a wealth of information and resources from industry experts to support alongside these resources.  You will find a range of videos, interactive learning modules. 

Online learning modules (e-learning modules) are self-contained digital workshops. They include multiple media types such as video, text and quizzes, and links to further resources. Users can work through modules at their own pace, at a time and place that suits. We have over 35 online modules at present.

Other resources 

  • VR Headsets: Together with the Food and Fibre CoVe we have created a virtual reality ‘cattle handling’ safety module to enable learners to understand the correct methods for handling cattle safely on farm. This 6-minute module comes with operational and teaching tips to enable it to be integrated into programmes already happening. You can hire a headset for a 2-week period come mid-2025.   • Nutritional resources: You can find a number of nutrition and cooking with beef and lamb resources at B+LNZ Inc here. B+LNZ Inc is responsible for the domestic promotion of beef and lamb and is jointly funded by farmers (B+LNZ Ltd), New Zealand retailers and New Zealand processors.
  • Farm module activities: We have a number of resources created over the years supporting past young farmer events. We will have these available to send to schools for using in their class come mid-2025.
  • Food and Fibre Discovery Challenge: Together with New Zealand Young Farmers we are repacking this programme previously run at field days a resource that can be hired out and used within schools. Watch this space.
  • B+LNZ events: Students are always welcome to attend events across New Zealand to help complement their learnings. Check out the events calendar to find an event near you.
