Rabobank Financial Skills workshops – proudly supported by B+LNZ
Module 1: Introductory one-day interactive workshop involving practical hands-on skills in understanding financial statements and banking requirements
During this module you will:
- gain an understanding of how to read and interpret financial reports
- understand what they can tell you about your business.
- explore how banks assess you and your business along
- tips to help make the relationship with your as beneficial as possible.
Module 2: Know your numbers, Know your business
(Module 1 does not have to be completed to attend module 2)
Given the current environment of volatile product prices, high inflation, extreme weather events and increasing interest rates; Rabobank have designed a workshop to help farmers and growers take ownership of their finances.
Understanding your key numbers within the current season, helps to plan actions that can be taken if the budget or cashflow is deviating from plan.
During this module you will:

- recognise the significant variation to plan and how best to communicate this.

Computing for farmers: using farm data
This workshop in an introduction to using MS-Excel and other spreadsheets to manage farm data, and also some background on other software tools.
