Keep an eye on your mailbox. Voting information for the 2025 B+LNZ Annual Meeting processes – including a director election for Western North Island voters – will be arriving over the coming days.

All farmers on the B+LNZ electoral roll have been sent a letter and here’s what you need to know.
About the voting process
To keep costs down, voting is now being conducted online only. Online voting is easy and secure, and organisations are increasingly moving to online voting.
All the information you need about voting is in the letter, including your unique PIN and password.
If you need help, contact details are in the letter.
Voting closes at 2pm on Wednesday 19 March.
How you know you’re on the electoral roll
If you’ve previously received voting materials from B+LNZ you’re still on the electoral roll and you don’t need to re-register to vote.
If you haven’t received a letter by the end of February, contact Electionz.com on 0800 666 032.
You can check if you’re on the roll by calling 0800 BEEFLAMB (0800 233 352) or emailing enquiries@beeflambnz.com
What’s being voted on
- If you live in the Western North Island you should vote for your local farmer director. Scott Gower and Andrew Stewart are standing for election and you can access the candidate profiles here.
- Farmers are being asked to vote on a proposal to raise Directors’ fees by four percent. The independent panel (Director Independent Remuneration Committee, or DIRC) recommended an increase of six percent, after considering the workload of directors and benchmarking against similar organisations, but Directors instead decided to propose to farmers an increase of four percent.
- A second resolution relates to the appointment of KPMG as auditor.
- There were no remits received this year.
