Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Beef + Lamb New Zealand Awards, held at Claudelands in Hamilton on 10 October.
This evening event is a celebration of New Zealand’s world-leading sheep and beef industry, where finalists will be introduced, and the winners of the eight award categories announced.
B+LNZ’s Communications and Insights General Manager, Rowena Hume, says that while it has been a challenging year for the sector, it is clear that people want to celebrate success and best practice.
“The quality and quantity of entries we’ve received reflect the excellence in our sector. We’re now going through the judging process and finalists will be announced late August.
“It is more important than ever that we take time to get together and celebrate the breadth and depth of talent in our sector including exceptional farmers and farming systems.”
Hume encourages those interested to secure their tickets early, as they tend to sell out rapidly. "The Awards evening, now in its third year, has become a must-attend event. Feedback has been extremely positive, with attendees appreciating the opportunity to celebrate success, network, catch up with friends, and enjoy a fantastic three-course meal featuring some of the country’s best beef and lamb."
