Beef + Lamb New Zealand (B+LNZ) has launched a food truck sampling tour as part of a new Taste Pure Nature campaign, in partnership with Atkins Ranch grass-fed lamb and First Light Farms 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef, to bring a taste of New Zealand to Los Angeles-area residents.

From October 27 to November 22, consumers can experience the New Zealand grass-fed difference with mouth-watering menu creations from Los Angeles chef Alvin Cailan, host of The Burger Show and the legendary talent behind the Eggslut concept and Amboy Quality Meats & Delicious Burgers.

The food truck sampling tour will enable consumers throughout Los Angeles to try grass-fed beef and lamb from New Zealand and discover what makes it so delicious.

“New Zealand animals are sustainably and humanely raised on lush green pastures 365 days a year, resulting in some of the world’s best, most natural-tasting beef and lamb,” said Michael Wan, B+LNZ’s Global Manager – NZ Red Meat Story. “We’re excited for Los Angeles consumers to discover the taste of New Zealand grass-fed through the delicious menu creations developed by Chef Alvin, which highlight his culinary expertise and passion as well as his love for New Zealand beef and lamb.”

“The food truck sampling tour provides a platform to tell the New Zealand grass-fed story under the Taste Pure Nature origin brand, and through collaboration introduce them to our partners' brands and where they can buy their products,” said Wan.

“Many families only eat lamb on special occasions and holidays” said Pat Maher, CEO of Atkins Ranch. “We love Chef Alvin’s recipe for Lamb Chorizo Tostadas because it demonstrates how easy and delicious it is to incorporate lamb into your favourite cuisine.”

Free samples of the First Light Farms 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef picanha sandwich and Atkins Ranch lamb tostada will be available to consumers who visit the food truck at its various stops including The Brig, Grand Central Market and The Rose Bowl Flea Market, as well as supermarkets selling Atkins Ranch and First Light Farms products.
