Beef + Lamb New Zealand (B+LNZ) invites farmers across the country to attend the 2025 Director Roadshow, running from mid-July through to September.

These annual events are a valuable opportunity for farmers to connect directly with their local B+LNZ Director, regional extension team, and senior staff. Farmers will hear updates on B+LNZ’s work, ask questions, find out the opportunities to get involved and share feedback on the issues that matter most to them.
B+LNZ Chair Kate Acland says the roadshow is designed to be a series of small, informal meetings to encourage open dialogue and ensure farmers’ voices are heard.
“The sessions are a chance for farmers to be in the room with decision-makers and have real conversations about what’s working, what’s not, and where we need to go next,” says Acland.
“We know it’s not always easy to get off the farm, so we’re making sure these events are worth your time. The content is shaped by what farmers tell us they want to hear about. Some events will have guest speakers and some regions have asked for deeper insights into on-farm performance and international market trends, so one of the team will provide an update on this at those relevant local events.”
The B+LNZ team will also share what B+LNZ is delivering for farmers under the refreshed strategy, investing your levies into key areas, and we also want your thoughts on whether we should consider changes to how levies are applied in future.
“We’re here to listen. Whether it’s policy, productivity, or advocacy, your feedback helps shape our direction. We encourage all farmers to come along, ask questions, and help us make sure we’re delivering real value,” she adds.
Registration is essential. For dates, locations, and to register, visit the Director Roadshow event page on the B+LNZ website.
