If you’re heading to Fieldays, make sure to visit the B+LNZ team at site number PB50. As an official partner of the New Zealand Team this Paris 2024 Olympics, we have a combined site where you can take part in the Tour De Fern – Sprint for the Fern challenge, meet Olympians and be in to win a special prize! Come talk to the B+LNZ team about how our on-farm extension, research and resources are focused on enhancing profitability and productivity. We’ll be running a competition where you can nominate your local hero and learn more about the B+LNZ Awards.
Help B+LNZ develop a freshwater policy position roadmap
During the first two weeks of June, B+LNZ is running workshops to get farmer input into the development of a package of freshwater policy positions that balance freshwater health outcomes with sustainable and profitable farming businesses. The workshops will be from 12–4pm on 11 June in Te Kuiti and 13 June in Feilding, with a light lunch provided. Farmer input is vital to B+LNZ’s policy position development and there will be additional opportunities to provide input in the coming months. Thank you to everyone who has registered your interest in the June workshops, and to those that attended the two workshops in the South Island last week. If you haven’t registered for a North Island event but would like to take part in a workshop, please email May.Ponsonby@beeflambnz.com
