Beef + Lamb New Zealand (B+LNZ) celebrates Earth Day in the United States by highlighting some of New Zealand’s sustainable farming initiatives on a global scale.
As part of a broader campaign programming to support B+LNZ’s sustainable farming story, we partnered with the Foodie Tribe influencer network to enlist Conscious Foodies to create content highlighting our sustainable farming initiatives.
The content featured New Zealand farms, beef recipes and lamb recipes, along with key facts, figures and educational information.
Michael Wan, B+LNZ’s Global Manager – New Zealand Red Meat Story says, “We are seeing an increasing interest from Conscious Foodie consumers in relation to sustainable raising practices which have been elevated during the Covid-19 crisis.”
“Working with these influencers will help grow awareness for New Zealand grass-fed beef and lamb, and the progress we’ve made within the industry to-date, with consumers who are passionate about food, consume red meat and have an interest in buying more natural, sustainably produced products.”
The Earth Day program serves as a launchpad for a growing focus on New Zealand’s sustainable farming practices. This work feeds into two of B+LNZ’s top priorities of enhancing our environmental position to strengthen farmers’ reputation and unlocking market opportunities in New Zealand and globally.
