Farmlands Co-operative and Beef + Lamb New Zealand Ltd (B+LNZ) “Join B+LNZ Awards Celebrations” social media competition - Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions set out how an entry may be made in the Farmlands and B+LNZ Social Media 2024 “Join B+LNZ Awards Celebrations” Competition. 

This Competition is to highlight Farmlands as the B+LNZ Awards Partner, with the 2024 B+LNZ Awards being held Thursday 10 October in Hamilton.  

The promoter and organiser of the Competition is B+LNZ with the support of Farmlands. 

Eligibility 

  1. All entries must be made online via B+LNZ’s Facebook or Instagram pages by an individual tagging a friend and commenting why they think it’s important to celebrate New Zealand’s sheep and beef sector.  
  2. A person can enter as many times as they like if a new friend and a new reason to celebrate is entered each time. 
  3. Only one person/friend can be tagged per comment. 
  4. All entrants must be over 18 years of age. 
  5. The Competition runs from Monday, 9 September 2024 to 11.59pm Sunday, 15 September 2024. 
  6. B+LNZ and Farmlands’ employees, their immediate families, contractors of both entities’ associated agencies, including advertising agencies are ineligible to enter the Competition.  
  7. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
  8. The Competition is open to New Zealand residents and citizens only. 

Prize information 

  1. One commentor will be drawn as the winner at random in B+LNZ’s Wellington office on Monday 16 September 2024. The commentor will receive the prize. 
  2. The winners will be announced on B+LNZ’s social media platform following the 16 September draw and no later than Wednesday 18 September. 
  3. The prize is a $250 Farmlands Gift Card.  
  4. The winner will be notified via social media by a comment and/or private message.  
  5. Inability to contact the winners within five days of the draw will result in the prize being forfeited. An alternative entry will be drawn at random. 
  6. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable for cash. 
  7. The prize will only be delivered in New Zealand. The winner should allow 28 days from notification for delivery. If the winner is a New Zealand citizen currently located overseas, the winner must supply a New Zealand address for the prize to be delivered to. 
  8. Prior to receiving the prize, the winner may be required to show proof of identity, for example, their passport or driver’s licence. 

Storage and consent 

  1. B+LNZ and Farmlands reserves the right to store electronically all entries submitted in this Competition and to use them free of charge in any of its online and print publications. 
  2. All entries submitted will be visible on B+LNZ’s Facebook and Instagram pages.  

Other 

  1. B+LNZ and Farmlands are not responsible for entries that go astray. 
  2. All entries must be received no later than by 11.59pm Sunday, 15 September 2024. 
  3. B+LNZ and Farmlands reserves the right to cancel or amend any aspect of the Competition at any time, including the prize. 
  4. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, B+LNZ and Farmlands excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Competition and any prizes. 
  5. B+LNZ and Farmlands collects and holds participants’ personal information solely for the purpose of conducting this specific Competition and will only use or disclose personal information in connection with this specific Competition. 
  6. Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access and correct any information held by B+LNZ and Farmlands about you. Please contact enquiries@beeflambnz.com if you wish to do this.
