West Field Day

This event is brough to you by B+LNZ, AgFirst and Kaipara Moana Remediation. Join us for a practical and inspiring field day showcasing the West Partnership case study, highlighting how collaboration with Kaipara Moana Remediation (KMR) has improved water quality and farm efficiency. 

Key achievements

• Retired 9.45ha of sensitive land.
• Installed 2.45 km of fencing, creating five paddocks and a laneway.
• Fenced and protected two wetlands.

Field day programme

Farm tour and discussion hosted by the West Partnership 

• 10.9 SU/ha on 403 ha effective, 30% sheep, 250 kg CWT/ha.
• Includes a (4WD Only) tour of fencing and retirement works.
• Share ideas on reversing land slumping in affected area.

Accessing KMR support 

• Learn how to apply for matching funding for fencing and planting.
