Speakers

  • Sarah Barr – Rural Coach. A specialist in the field of facilitation, coaching and individualised support. She’s a key cog in the wheel for enabling strategic conversations and challenging people to achieve their goals
  • Hadley Edwards – Rabobank. An extensive career in finance arms Hadley with the experience and proven principles on how to successfully grow, protect and maintain wealth. With valuable skills in the field of supporting and advising long term strategic investments including farm ownership & Succession Planning.  
  • Greg Watson- Rabobank argi manager, based in Timaru. Had a long, successful career in agribusiness
  • Hamish Lane – Bayley’s Real Estate. Hamish has carved out a successful career and reputation in livestock. With a focus now on real estate and a vested interest in farming he has the combined knowledge of leasing arrangements & equity partnerships with the ability and passion to progress the rural sector and its people.
  • Craig Blackburn Bayley’s Real Estate – an extensive background in the rural sector he innately understands the unique environments farmers operate in.
  • Sarah How – Landify Limited. Sarah has a love for strategy and problem solving and is currently undertaking her MBA. She’s part of a team currently creating a platform with a m mission to make partnerships between established farmers, up-and-coming farmers and investors more accessible.

Regional showcase dinner

Following on from the events of the day, we invite you to attend Beef + Lamb New Zealand Regional Showcase Dinner with keynote speaker, Dave Letele.

Pre-dinner drinks (cash bar) from 5pm, ticketed dinner 6 to 9pm.

Evening speaker: Dave “The Brown Buttabean” Letele

As a child, Dave’s father was president of the Mongrel Mob, and growing up around prisons and criminal activity.

Throughout his life, Dave has experienced massive highs and lows, from early sporting success to the failure of his supermarket business in Australia. He lost everything, including his family, and returned to New Zealand with only the clothes on his back, weighing in at over 200 kgs.

He turned to prize fighting to earn money and get fit, sharing his fitness journey on social media. He lost over 100 kilograms, and the public response to his efforts built up the movement that became Buttabean Motivation or BBM.
