Beef + Lamb New Zealand is proud to support National Lamb Day Celebrations at Totara Estate.
In 1882, global food production was transformed with the first shipment of frozen meat from NZ to the UK. Totara Estate played a significant role in this grand experiment; join us as we celebrate this milestone achievement in our nation’s history.
Our Family Fun Day includes heritage agricultural demonstrations such as blade shearing, dog trials, dry-stone wall building and blacksmithing, wool crafts with the opportunity to have-a-go at spinning, classic lawn games including tug-o-war, sack races and hobby horse races, and of course – delicious NZ lamb! There’s even a chance to win a Pure South meat pack gift card by entering our Fred Dagg Look-alike Competition.
Totara Estate is open from 10am – 3pm on Sunday 15 February.
