Mangatangi Maramarua Catchment are hosting a in stream freshwater field trip.
For a deeper dive into the in stream freshwater health of our rivers, come along to the field trip hosted by two freshwater experts, Merrin Whatley (Adaptive Environmental Consulting) and Ric Balfour (NZ Landcare Trust).
A fascinating look into what lives, breathes, swims and hangs out in our local rivers - including seeing koura and tuna in the real.
Open to all - kids and adults alike. Great school holiday activity.
Light lunch will be provided.
