- Duncan Elliott, Beef + Lamb Operations Specialist, will provide an update on how B+LNZ is partnering with industry to improve sire performance and drive greater integration of farm businesses into supply chains that reward good breeding, rearing, and finishing. These essential practices are key to achieving meaningful change at scale across the sector.
- Host LeAnne Blakelock, who runs Calf Chronicles online, will share insights into the pros and cons of rearing dairy beef calves. She is also actively involved in science and research, with a particular focus on calf nutrition and genetics.
- Ben Watson from Genez will discuss current industry trends, how to improve your beef strategy, and highlight some unique sire options that can add value to your calves.
