What is this Focus Group?
The Young Shepherds group is intended for committed shepherds who want to grow their dog handling abilities, stockmanship, technical skills and develop confidence in all things farming.
It is a small group learning environment consisting of 7 practical workshops delivered over 2 years (approx. one workshop every 3 months).
Course overview
Build your skills, knowledge, and confidence through a two-year Young Shepherds programme. Learn practical techniques from experienced farmers across dog training, stockmanship, fencing, feed budgeting, animal health, farm systems, financial literacy, personal resilience, and technology. Connect with like-minded peers and grow your future in farming.
