B+LNZ Wormwise Advanced Farm Systems Workshop: Ngāhinapōuri

Event category
Workshop
drenching ewes

This could be the workshop you have been waiting for. Widespread triple drench resistance in sheep and cattle combined with poor sheep returns, environmental regs and high farm costs are threatening the profitability and land use of traditional drystock farms.

Farmer Vet & Wormwise Facilitator Jeremy Leigh has teamed up with Bob Thomson, Agfirst farm systems specialist, to deliver the first of a kind workshop exploring the most profitable systems / stock policies that could work on your farm that will also succeed from a parasite management perspective.

You may have some performing areas of your farm already and want to expand these without threatening your drench status. This workshop extends from the principles learnt in the introductory Wormwise workshop* and dives deep into the unique qualities of your farm and how this can best turn pasture into profit, and how to get there.

The workshop is aimed at the key decision makers in your farming business and so at least two people would be an advantage.

What to bring?
