Join the Northern North Island Farmer Council for our annual meeting with guest speaker Nigel Latta
The Northern North Island Farmer Council welcomes you to attend their annual general meeting.
Join us for the evening at the Northland Cricket Pavilion in Whangarei, we will hold our annual meeting followed by dinner and guest speaker Nigel Latta. All farmers and rural professionals are welcome to attend.
Guest speaker: Nigel Latta
Nigel trained as a Clinical Psychologist and worked for over two decades in the areas of forensic psychology and family therapy.
In the last fifteen years he’s been a sought after keynote speaker engaged by some of New Zealand’s biggest brands and many of our coolest companies as well as some very hard working NGO’s and government agencies.
Everyone is struggling with the same issue: What's next, and how shall I respond?
For most of human history major change has occurred over long and manageable timeframes . . . from hundreds of years to decades.
The world is constantly turning itself inside out and upside down, and it’s doing that faster and faster and faster.
In this session Nigel will talk about why the world is changing so quickly, what it means for anyone trying to run a business, and some things you can do to get match fit for the Revolution.
Disruption is the new same old, so getting ready for it is vitally important.
More about the Northern North Island Farmer Council:
The Northern North Island Farmer Council works closely with the regional B+LNZ staff and farmers to ensure our programs are relevant and delivered to a high standard. Our region covers Auckland to the Cape, all levy payers in this area are welcome to nominate themselves to be on the council. The Farmer Council is made up Farmers and Co-opt members. Farmer Councillors are elected levy paying farmers, or a representative of a levy paying farm entity (e.g. Farm Manager). Elected councillors vote on the final activity investment and are elected onto the Council at the Annual General Meeting. A co-opted councillor is someone who is invited by the Farmer Council to join the Farmer Council. They are usually rural professionals or economic experts who add value to the council.
