Join us for an afternoon discussing the nutritional requirements of a pregnant ewe, and clostridial diseases that affect lamb survival. As well as a real estate market update.        

Charlotte Westwood will explore winter grazing on fodder beet verse brassica, and grass; looking at the nutritional requirements of a pregnant ewe and her lamb / s. Learn the trade-offs for grazing each crop and the flow on affects that may impact lamb survival and growth. 

Penny Mehrtens will take us through the different clostridial diseases affecting lambs, and the vaccinations that can be given to ewes, so your lambs have the best chance to survive and thrive.

Farm tour

Concluding with a farm tour across Glenlake’s rolling countryside observing crops and stock with Jim Burrows and Kim Marshall.
