Join us at The Gladstone Inn as we celebrate National Lamb Day and show our appreciation for your dedication to producing top-quality New Zealand lamb. Your hard work allows us all to enjoy the lamb we love so much!

Bring your wife/husband & family and treat them to a night out this Valentine’s Day to love lamb! It will be a relaxed get-together in the pub garden,  delicious Ovation lamb on the BBQ, great company, and a few beverages to toast to you the good farmers who make it all possible.

We look forward to celebrating with you to thank you for the passion and effort that goes into every lamb produced.

What is National Lamb Day?

National Lamb Day marks a key moment in New Zealand’s farming history. On February 15, 1882, William Davidson and Thomas Brydone shipped the first frozen lamb from Port Chalmers to London. This successful export of around 5,000 carcasses proved New Zealand's ability to produce and export top-quality lamb, establishing the foundation for our thriving meat industry.
