Seizing opportunities, celebrating success
This community event has become a highlight on the calendar for Marlborough’s sheep and beef farmers – a pathway away from the day-to-day, catch up with mates, and share some well-earned laughs over warm food.
This year’s theme is all about seizing new opportunities and celebrating success in our farming communities, and we’re lining up a new programme to match.
Speakers
- Dr Robyn Dynes (AgResearch) – We are privileged to have Dr Robyn Dynes, a Principal Scientist and Farmer Engagement Specialist at AgResearch, and award-winning researcher as our MC for the evening and a featured speaker, sharing her remarkable thoughts on innovation and progress in farming.
- Jen Corkran (Rabobank) – Senior Analyst for Animal Protein at RaboResearch in NZ. Jen will give us an insightful update on the red meat sector and what’s ahead.
- Farmer speakers Kim and Jim Burrows from North Canterbury – (Glenlake) Sharing their farming story, what drives them, and what success looks like in their business.
Dinner will be catered by Kaiaka, and thanks to our kind sponsors – Rural Support Trust, Rabobank, FMG, Farmlands and Blenheim Toyota for their drive in this event.
