Pete Thomson and Geordie Eade founding members of Southlands Hogget 150 Action Group will join us at Braided Waters to chat all things hogget mating.
The Hogget 150 group have been working together to maximise Hogget performance since 2018.
About the day
- Pete and Geordie will talk us through their yearly cycle from picking replacements, management, mating, through to weaning.
- You will get all of the tip and tricks, hear about the successes and the learnings and be able to share some of your own.
- Braided Waters will talk about the development of their Hogget Mating programme and how they select their ewe lamb replacements with smart shepherd technology.
