About the field day
Lamb supply and production is a result of many management decisions made over a significant period. Feeding of ewes leading into Tupping, rams used, paddocks chosen for lambing, weaning date and the hand or eye on the drafting gate come 'pick' day are all steps that Bill and Sue Garland continue to nail year after year.
Their efforts have won them the TK Meats Top Supplier Award for consecutive years. Bill, well into his 70s wants to pass on the tips and knowledge he has built over the years to other farmers, and help them to improve their lamb production.
Join us for a day at Rahiri farm and hear from Bill along with TK Meats Livestock Manager Scott Stewart, on what the targets are and how they can be reached.
