About the day
Come and join us for a day off farm in the Owaka Valley. This on farm field day will showcase Graham and Rhys Evans property Barr Falls Farm.
Hear how Graham started from nothing and has realised the dream to be sheep and beef farming and how they are managing through the current farming climate.
Hear from a panel of everyday farmers who have all succeeded into farms through different pathways. They will share with you what they are doing on farm this year to get through the challenges and their insights into their misery index created by Pita Alexander.
Afternoon tea supplied.
The day will finish with a visit out on farm looking at opportunities the Evans family are utilising.
