Looking to maximise your return from beef finishing? Wanting to learn more from farmers who are already successfully maximising on beef finishing? Or do you want to explore the technology available on the market to make beef finishing more efficient?
James Parsons, Northland beef farmer, is an early adopter of technology and is joining us to share his insights of beef finishing.
James was the inaugural Halter Base beef farmer in NZ and internationally, deploying Halter across his 600-ha steep hill country beef farm in Northland in November 2023. He will share his experiences, the financial opportunity, mistakes made and key principles to consider with virtual fencing and beef finishing systems.
Representatives from Halter and Gallagher are joining us to educate on what technology is offered to make beef finishing more efficient, particularly on hill country.
The day will be rounded out with an engaging farmer panel made up of local beef farmers using collars for virtual fencing and other ways to harness data on their farms to increase productivity and profitability.
Afternoon tea, BBQ and refreshments supplied.
