Choosing the right sires is one of the most important investments in your flock’s productivity, and this session will arm you with the tools to make those choices count.

- Jo Scott from Targeted Breeding will share her expertise on identifying structural soundness, genetic merit, and key traits that influence on-farm performance.
- Lisa Roberts from Vetsouth will follow with valuable insights on ram health, including body condition, parasite management, and pre-tupping checks to ensure rams are fit, fertile, and ready for the mating season.

After the session from 4pm, we invite all to join us for a relaxed community BBQ and refreshments — an opportunity to come together after a difficult week of wild weather, power outages and significant damage.
