This week’s notices:
Madagascar ragwort resources available
B+LNZ is aware of the concerns about Madagascar ragwort and encourages farmers to take action on-farm to stop its further spread. Northland Regional Council (NRC) has developed resources to help farmers, available on their website here. You can also find further information in this Pāmu case study.
Help inform B+LNZ’s work in people, capability and workforce support
B+LNZ wants to hear from farmers and farm teams about skills, training and workforce support. Your feedback will help guide People and Capability investment for the year ahead and inform discussions with the B+LNZ People and Capability Farmer Reference Group. Share your feedback here.
How do you manage parasites? B+LNZ wants to know
Parasites and drench resistance are getting harder to control, so B+LNZ is ramping up support through research, on‑farm trials, farmer learning groups, and Wormwise. We’re running a short, anonymous survey to help us focus our work where it will make the biggest difference. Your responses, alongside insights from our Livestock Parasite Management groups, will show what’s working and where more support is needed. It takes just five minutes, and your input directly shapes the tools, resources, and research we invest in. Take the survey here.
