Sheep and beef on-farm inflation was -0.9 percent in the year to March 2026. But when interest is excluded, underlying on-farm inflation rose 3.9 percent, B+LNZ’s annual Sheep and Beef On-farm Inflation report shows. Farm input prices are expected to increase through 2026–27.
