Sheep and beef farmers looking to tackle change with confidence won’t want to miss Out the Gate 2025, powered by the Beef + Lamb New Zealand (B+LNZ) Farmer Council and Kāhui.

Held on Wednesday 26 March in Rotorua, the event tailored to sheep and beef farmers is packed with world-class speakers, hands-on workshops, and big ideas around productivity, people, and farming into the future.
Justine Kidd, B+LNZ’s GM Extension says farmers can expect world-class speakers, practical takeaways, meaningful networking opportunities, and a few good laughs, topped off with a lively gala dinner.
“Out the Gate 2025 has been carefully crafted by farmers, for farmers, with input from B+LNZ’s Farmer Council and Kāhui to ensure it delivers real value. It’s all about providing farmers with the information, tools, and fresh perspectives they need to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
“We’ve brought together brilliant speakers and workshop facilitators to make this happen with key themes centred around productivity, people, and farming into the future,” she says.
Out the Gate 2025 features top speakers including global meat market expert Simon Quilty on The Ripple Effect: Global Red Meat Influences, leading economist Shamubeel Eaqub on Shaping the Future Through Economic Realities, and motivational powerhouse David Letele on Resilience, Reinvention & Creating New Opportunities.
Farmers will be able to immerse themselves in interactive workshops, diving deeper into topics like on-farm productivity, leadership, team building, and diversification.
B+LNZ’s Annual Meeting will also be a part of the event.
