Reminder: voting letters hitting mailboxes

Voting letters have now been sent to everyone on B+LNZ’s electoral roll – if you’ve previously received voting materials from B+LNZ you’re still on the roll and don’t need to re-register to vote. If you haven’t received a letter by the end of February, contact Electionz.com on 0800 666 032. Southern South Island farmers can vote for their local Farmer Director and can find the candidate profiles for Simon Davies, Glen McDonald, and Matt McRae on the B+LNZ website here. Voting closes 12 March. For more information see last week’s e-diary story about voting.

Complete the remuneration survey for a chance to win!

The Federated Farmers and Rabobank New Zealand remuneration survey is a valuable tool for farming businesses to inform decisions around remuneration packages that will attract and retain staff. The more farmers that participate, the more robust the results will be. Complete the survey before 25 February 2026 and be in to win. The prize draw consists of one $200 winner and three $100 prizes.

See you at Central Districts Field Days

Reminder: Calf rearers survey

A new national study is capturing farmers’ real‑world experience to better understand calf‑rearing practices across NZ and support a stronger future for dairy-beef. Farmers involved in calf rearing are encouraged to share their insights and go in the draw to win $2,000 of NZAgBiz products by completing the survey here.
