Join us for an engaging afternoon on this breeding and finishing operation in Taihape.

This sheep and beef farm is run as a hybrid model which brings together the best elements of a family-run business combined with good corporate governance. Spanning 2,773ha (2,628ha effective), Spring Farms was established in 2008. It started with 10,000 stock units and has grown to over 30,000 stock units recently.

The sheep and beef breeders and finishers farm across five different blocks with the largest income earner being lamb. Spring Farms were also one of the first farms in NZ to be NZFAP Plus accredited, recently obtaining gold standard.

Come and hear from them about their operation and how they balance breeding and finishing to maximize returns.
