Federated Farmers Leadership and Development Programme

Federated Farmers run several short courses to encourage farmers to become more active in their communities and have the confidence to step up and speak out. The training will help you develop the skills you need to deliver the right messages to the right people – to help bring about positive outcomes for rural communities.

Shining under the spotlight

This workshop is designed to meet the needs of members who are already active in leadership roles, but wish to advance their skills.

You will gain insight into leadership styles, build on your strengths, heighten your confidence and enhance your performance.

Advocacy, influence and outcomes

Leading on from Shining Under the Spotlight, this workshop is aimed at Federated Farmers’ Provincial Presidents and executives.

You will increase your effectiveness in the collaborative decision making processes - particularly regarding the RMA, ETS, land, water and the other critical issues facing agriculture.

Our support

We support sheep and beef farmers who are Federated Farmers members to complete this training by providing financial assistance with costs.
