This is the annual conference jointly hosted by the Meat Industry Association of New Zealand Inc (MIA) and Beef + Lamb New Zealand Ltd (B+LNZ).
Held in Napier this year at the Napier Convention Centre, the conference starts at 6pm Sunday 29 July, and runs all day Monday, concluding with a gala dinner.
The goal of the conference is to promote and foster the red meat sector by providing a framework for engagement between farmers, industry and service providers, as well as showcasing expertise and best practice.
Highlights this year include the Ministry of Foreign Affair and Trade’s Vangelis Vitalis who will speak about the ongoing disruption to global trade norms, and Rabobank’s Tim Hunt who will reveal the secrets to winning in China.
Registrations for all registered Sheep and Beef farmers are subsidised by B+LNZ.
