For the Directors Independent Remuneration Committee (DIRC), Bruce Wills will also be reappointed unopposed as no other nominations were received for that vacancy.
No farmer remits were submitted for the Annual Meeting.
While no director, DIRC, or remit votes will be needed, voting papers for required Annual Meeting resolutions will still be posted to all registered farmers in February 2020, along with details of B+LNZ’s Annual Report 2019. Voting papers need to be returned or completed online by Friday 20 March 2020.
To be eligible to vote on Annual Meeting resolutions, a livestock farmer must have owned at least 250 sheep, 50 beef cattle, or 100 dairy cattle on 30 June 2019. Farmers are encouraged to phone 0800 233 352 to check their details.
B+LNZ’s Annual Meeting will be held in New Plymouth on 26 March 2020. Details will be emailed to farmers and included in voting packs in February 2020.
